******* travelpod app crashed and deleted todays post. *******face So I sat up last night reading after Leah went to bed. My book got better and better and I slowly drank about 10 vodkas until it was 6am....at which point I went out for breakfast and returned with KFC. Leah spent the day wandering round Merdeka square, Chinatown and having a Mai …

So we got up a bit early, went down for breakfast that we didn't think was included in the room, but the front desk has told us that we are mistaken and it is. Breakfast was alright but turned out to be not quite enough of anything to make a breakfast. Beans and wedges but no fried egg or bacon, noodles and rice, croissants, paratha and daal, …

The Butterfly Effect

My guidebook helpfully gave me an itinerary for three days in KL, so I decided to follow it as it was just easier than working it all out myself. Today's tour would take in Merdeka Square and central KL, as well as the inner city 'Nature Area’, which included a butterfly farm, aviary and an orchid garden and then on to the National Mosque. I wasn’t too fussed about orchids, but I figured if I ...

Now on the airport express ways there are tolls with cameras, now that becomes a problem especially if you are illegal. Stern faced and still very cold, at this point i politely told him to "just go through them and stop being a Nelly"!! Few miles down the highway again he decides to stop the car on the hard shoulder. Now at this point alot of things were going round ...

    Never stay in this hotel!!!!!!!

    from

I will never stay in this hotel again.

    A bit disappointing

    from

Decided to stay here for our last night in KL just to check it out.

Good value in KL, dodgy area

    from

Walk in rate RM 159 with breakfast, club floor/lounge access.

    Ausgezeichnete Bewirtung

    from

Hervorragender Service.

    Best deal available in KL

    from

My last day at the Citrus hotel and I am convinced that this is the best deal you can get here in KL for your money.

    Two thumbs up!

    from

Citrus Hotel is a relatively new hotel in KL. It is currently available at great promotional prices, although I don't know how long it will be offered. A stay in the executive superior room cost me MYR 179 nett, inclusive of breakfast. Wireless internet is offered in all rooms, and this scored the hotel big brownie points from me. Parking space was also provided.

Soon to be renamed 'Fawlty Towers'

    from

For all intents and purposes, the Citrus Hotel appears to be a nice place to stay.

    Excellent Hospitality

    from

Outstanding services. My room on the executive floor was great. The executive lounge is lovely, you can relax in the lounge with complementary snacks and access to internet as well. The staff of the Hotel is really courteous, they always have a smile. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

Sehr guter Service und sehr gutes Essen!

    from

    Great Service and Great Food!!

    from

Great Service and Great Food .. I loved the room service menu, some of the best Malaysian food i ate on my trip! The front desk staff are really friendly and the view is incomparable .. my room was overlooking the Petronas Towers..the most afforadable 'room with a view 'in KL ..
