... Hmmmm. Perhaps more of a hike cause it's all cobble stones and steps. And amazing views. But. To keep with the theme of the day I managed to fall down some steps and twist my ankle. Seriously. What is wrong with me? No blood this time but could be grounds for divorce. Adam is beyond excited about being here and now he's got me with a bung ankle. This is a monastery. I actually woke up before my alarm this morning. It is a huge first for me because I normally get scared by my alarm every morning. Secondly, I was just a little nervous about driving today. I just kept repeating that driving in another country is only hard when you're a panicked driver. The saying helped but I was still just ready to go! I had a nervous, yet excited breakfast and I kept asking my French family what to expect on both the roads and salon. They find it hilarious ...

... as I've been told that the water is a tad cool. The view from the apartment is beautiful, I could happily sit here with a cuppa and just take it in. Nellie and Jean Paul came over and we went for a brief walk to get pizza. Dinner at the appartment with cheese and sausage that Nellie and Jean Paul brought. I loved the cheese, the sausage tasted good but it was quite tough to eat. We then had a cake that is from Brittany, but I can't remember the name. Sleep time now, it's late. ...
