The Chunnel, London and more visitors
... through the Chunnel was quite anti-climactic. You could easily sleep through it (which I did on the way back to Paris). There is no stopping or even slowing down, and you don’t notice that you are headed deep beneath the ground/water. It just looks dark outside your window, exactly as if you were on a subway. We were in the Chunnel for about twenty minutes, and then before we knew it we had reached London.
