This morning we decided to surprise Kate and Roy by taking them an amusment park called L'Angel Michel Parc which is located not too far from Mont St Michel. We initally told them we were going to visit a monestry where they brew their own beer, so they were quite excited about that.

After taking a one way street in the wrong direction we finally parked the car to visit a cathedral built in 1066. Oh what a sight. Spectacular. .. the day was cold and wet so after a quick coffee and breaky stop we strolled on to the museum to see a magnificent 68 metre tapestry made in the 11th century. It depicts the invasion in 1066 of William the conqueror. We continued on ...

This morning we headed out and headed north towards Bayeux, a sleepy little town, it's starting to drizzle rain but this didn't stop us.

Finding a car park and heading up a one way street only the locals waving their arms at us frantically ...... Yep one way street. So poor Paul had to reverse the car back and head in the right direction. Finally we found a car park and went for our walk to ...
