We caught a taxi to St Malo train station then an early train to Rennes. Checked into the superb 5* Balthazar hotel on Rue Marechal Joffre. Recommended. Because we were early our room wasn't ready so we wandered into the town. And particularly the old part. Very old timbered buildings from ...

We set off this morning to Bayeux. Arriving in this gorgeous little town we tried to find a carpark. We have beautiful double french doors that open up onto a window box that overlooks the narrow street. We started our stay with a glass of wine and beer in the hotel bar before heading out for pizza and a bottle of Chianti. Strolling the chilly streets after we headed back to our warm hotel for a well deserved nights ...

... wouldn't speak to us and Tony as the Pilot and Paul the co pilot, we proceeded to drive around the car park not once but twice. We phoned our hotel in advance to tell them that we would be arriving close to expected time. Driving from the car park and onto the Paris motorways holding onto the edge of our seats and the backseat ...
