Weather this morning dull and overcast.
We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
Nothing too exciting – just another day at L'Herbaudiere.

Headed in to La Gueriniere and bought some bits and pieces. Had dinner in the local restaurant tonight, Les 2 Entrees Cotes. At last it was open and worth the wait. L’Herbaudiere seems the most "real" town so far on the island. It has a port and offers scuba diving. Had a coffee and carried on down the west coast of the island to stop at Plage de Luzeronde, a long sandy beach but near deserted today. Tried to find our way through the salt pens (marais salants) but very tricky although great photo opportunities for birds but the herons continue to elude me. They fly ...

Went off on our cycles to do more exploring of the island.
