    ... hour, then back down to earth and down to base camp.

    I took a few photos and found Darius a tin of caramels, as requested.

    Later in the evening Jonathan dashed over the bridge to the patisserie for a baguette to go with the remainder of our chicken and salad for dinner, and a slice if flan for afters. It has rained steadily all evening.

    ... began to sprinkle with rain. The service was very quick...     ... we've had in Brittany and then proceeded to walk to the old town. The guide books had led us to believe that there were very few half timbered houses left following the major fire of 1720 but were we very pleasantly surprised at what we saw whilst wandering around.

    ... shops, descending again to the port via the patisserie over the bridge again for a croissant for petit dejeuner deciemme (second breakfast). Now it's deciding what to do next - we were going to explore Dinan today, but the forecast is 30 degrees, so we may head for the coast and some gardens and walks there where we can cool off with a paddle afterwards. ...
