We arrived in this beautiful place for a 2 night stay. The hotel is just gorgeous. Our room is spacious and very luxe. We have beautiful double french doors that open up onto a window box that overlooks the narrow street. We started our stay with a glass of wine and beer in the hotel bar before heading out for pizza and a bottle of Chianti. Strolling the chilly streets after we headed back to our warm hotel for a well deserved nights ...

Then we drove to St Malo and it had a medieval city in the city walls and we walked
And then on our way back to the car we stopped by the old prison.
You had to climb through and over rocks to get there and if the tide was high you had to swim. But we went there at low tide.
We drove to Plergeur. It took 4 hours. It is a good place.
There was a little swing set but it got destroyed, a dead bird and a badminton game.
We went to Mont St Michel.
It is a church and a lot of houses on a rock.
We went inside the church and got an English tour.
It took around about an hour. But in my case ...
St Malo was a cool town surrounded by the old city walls.
We walked the 1.8km along the top of them taking loads of photos of the beautiful view.
The kids just had to climb over the rocks to get to the exposed island at low tide.
Riley and Jordan ran off to climb and the 6 yr old little girl followed, climbing all the slippery and big rocks.

We are on the TGV from Paris to Rennes, the capital of Bretagne. We are in car 10, which is the power car at the end of the train, so sometimes there's a bit of a hum. But the seats are high backed, fabric covered and comfortable, with tray table and cup holder. Everybody sits quietly reading, listening to iPods or using their computers, no children, no mobile phone conversations.
