    ... out.

Treacle came off her steroids last Wednesday and remained well for several days, but unfortunately yesterday she was sick and today she has diarrhoea again, isn't eating and is very quiet. Lets hope this is just a bug she has picked up and not the return of the colitis.

As if in sympathy with Treacle not being well, the motorhome obviously decided that it too should have a problem. I returned today ...

There's been thunder and lightning and rain all night and it's still a bit gloomy when we meet for breakfast. The forecast is to clear by about 11am so we will take the van to our first visit today, the Carnac Alignments, and then see how the weather is. Hoping for a bike ride after that. The Carnac Alignments are a series of standing stones that are set in parallel lines. The area is 3kms long and about 50m wide. ...

Let's book a cycling holiday in France, she said, for a week, she said, it will be fun, she said. And I remind Rob, it is lots of fun. But bits of me still hurt and I am a bit tired at the end of the ride. Still, if it was easy, anyone could do it :). After a very warm night, in a hotel that doesn't do air conditioning, we wake ready for another day. Then the power goes out which limits breakfast choices and the all important coffee. However, we ...

We were ready to set off by 9am today. Unfortunately, my wish for no pain when I first got on the bike today was unfulfilled. Yes, it was a bit unrealistic, but surely I can hope? Perhaps tomorrow. It's forecast to be 37degrees today and we have a big day of riding planned today. Initially we were doing close to 60kms and that included a short ferry ride. Turns out however, that the ferry doesn't run until tomorrow so we will be riding a bit ...

We're up for breakfast by 7:30 and we seem to have a table for the tour group set up. Bags are to be at the van by 0845 and we're meant to be on our way by 0900. Well, almost, it is a holiday after all. One of our group broke her wrist some weeks ago and has not been cleared by her doctor to ride so she is doing the tour through a mixture of walking and riding in the van. We get away a bit after 9am. It's foggy this morning and ...
