Family Life on the Farm

... about
too much/too little light, quite amusing). Isabella turned out to be
Ella's bestie (most of the time!) and she spoke some English so it
was easy for Ella to get by. (She also speaks Dutch and French...aged
5, sheesh!) Little Marc was like no other, and unfortunately Isabella

We have been four nights in possibly the best hotel so far, a real home stay with home cooked meals and a four room apartment all for us. The place has beautiful stone buildings and is 100% quiet at night.

Lots of shops, cafes and boats. And of course old castle type things. Walked around the city, had a coffee, not good, at a fancy café & had a baguette sitting in the sun for lunch. Left there & went up the coast for ...

Leisurely drive in the country side.

Another quiet breakfast at the gites. Nice sitting in the sun with chooks, cats & rabbits running all around. Breakfast nearly consisted of venison as came that close to running over a deer last night it wasn't funny. But great driving skills by me saved the day & the deer. Leo & Lennie then took us for a drive to a little village, Brantome, 50 klm's away for a drive. Nice ...
