    ... walked back down to the valley & had lunch & then walked up to Alhambras. I walked through Alhambras looking at the magnificent rooms & around the very extensive gardens. My ticket for the Palacios Nazares palace (part of Alhambras) was for 5-30pm, so I walked back down the hill into the city to the cathedral, which I went through & it was magnificent, as are so many cathedrals in Europe. Then I walked back up the hill to go through the palace.

    It was a bit of a struggle to find the next camp site, because they had built a new bridge for the TGV railway, changing the layout of the local roads and completely bewildering Fanny Anne. I drove round in circles for about half an hour, eventually tucking in behind another British motorhome who was also lost, then suddenly on the Sat Nav screen I saw my destination and was able to take a very narrow road, through a 'road closed' sign, a village and I was there. ...

    ... of us felt a little delicate the next morning! Sunday was to be a Bardenac day. We had booked a table for one of their famous lunches. We avoided breakfast and made our way to the restaurant for about 12:30. We then spent the next two and a half hours eating and drinking! Yet another good meal at Bardenac.
