We arrived in Plerguer after about a 4 hour drive. It took for ever. When we arrived we found
    our unit easy.

We went to Mont St Michel. It is a church, a couple of shops and houses on a massive rock.

We went inside the massive church, it is called an abbey.

We got a tour guide to tell us what certain areas of the church where. Like the main church bit, where the monks ...

    ... again.

    Yesterday was New Years Eve.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

That is the end of 2014.
    I can't wait for 2015. 2014 was a really good year.

But also sad a little, because we left some of our family.
But the good thing was we went traveling. It has been fun.

Next we are off to Disney land. It is going to be SO FUN! ...

We were buying a dozen oysters (size 1, each as long as Greg's hand) fresh from the oyster farmers, for 5 euro ($7.50aus). People just eat them on the spot and the beach is strewn ...

... We are missing out. 2.25 hrs on the train and I finally arrived in Rennes, FR. Now on to the bus station where I'll spend another hour getting to Le Mont St. Michel. Reserving tickets, ordering food, or communicating in general is an adventure in itself. With my lack of French, and their lack of English, it makes for a comical experience trying to get what you're asking for. You can't help but laugh. There's really no need to get aggravated. While I was ...

    Mont Saint-Michel

After breakfast, head to the tiny town of Mont St. Michel, connected by causeway to the mainland and home to only a few dozen full-time residents. Enjoy an included tour of the medieval town and its eleventh century Romanesque Abbey, world-famous for its dramatic clifftop perch, as well as its rich history. Breton legend has it that the archangel Michael appeared to Aubert, the local bishop, in 708 AD and demanded that a church be built on this stony promontory, ...
