... to her and not sang as you will be relieved to hear we set a course for La Rochelle.We saw a custom boat approaching and was praying in these conditions as there was still a lot of swell, they didn't want to come alongside and check our paperwork, thankfully they waved a motored pastSeas slowly flattened and conditions we lovely in fact the wind dropped enough for us to fly our spinnaker which was lovely to see ...

... lovely we decided to put some tacks in and enjoy as the last 2 days we had to do quite a lot of motoring. We chilled, read and listened to music and I did the log, navigation and chart work which I really enjoyed. We arrived and was moored up by 3.30pm, due to the weather bring so warm we decided to get all our washing done before we settled down to a meal and relaxing evening.

Two fab things today (3 if you count another Benji potty poo): new campsite discovery and new beach discovery. After a very leisurely waking up, breakfasting, croissanting, bike riding and park playing, we set off in search on the nearest Castels campsite. This is a nice site in many ways, but pitch size is not one of them. There isn't anywhere for the kids to play on the pitch, we haven't been able to put up the front extension and we have a very small amount of space between ...

Did some washing, played some boule (until Bella lost the centre ball) rode bikes, ate lunch, sorted washing, played on pirate ship, played in park, caught up on some Kermode while Benji and hank went on a bike ride and Bella slept, are gorgeous pasta for tea and now in bed with Bella trying to convince her to settle down (half ten!) ... not what I wanted and had to go back! We ended up with nuggets for Ben, burger for hank, Bella had my chicken and mash which went down quite well, and I went back for pork in mustard sauce with rice which was delicious. Had a couple of goes on the merry go round while waiting for hank to locate water in Leclerc and them got back on track for the aquarium, arriving about 2 ish.
