    ... they failed to tell me was the Central Bus Station in Kuantan is certainly not central! Another local bus then took me to Kuantan local bus station where I had researched that you could bribe a bus ride to the junction to Cherating on a coach going in that direction as there are no buses go there. After 2.5 hours of being told one will be here in 15 mins, I gave up because I was melting and forming a puddle on the concrete! Taxi ride saved me 20 ...

    ... cold last night in a fan room! Today I woke up at 7.50 and thought that's too early so went back to sleep till 9, had a shower, all showers we've had are wet rooms and this one is pretty cool, it's on the ceiling not the wall and feels like being under a waterfall, it's cold as well-I get disappointed if they're hot, nothing worse than a hot shower here. We got a taxi from Kuantan bus station to Classic Hotel and checked in to a room costing RM100, about 20; our most lavish hotel so far in Malaysia, but it did include breakfast.
