    ... when you order chicken & cashew nuts to eat, thats what you get - half a chicken and a bowl of cashew nuts.
    Memorable thing - The firefly experience and going down the black still river in the dark.
    Frightening thing - Avoiding Portuguese Men of War in the sea and avoiding motorbikes that appear to head straight for you whether in the road or on a pavement.
    Embarrassing thing - looking like a lumpy lobster with ginger wild hair.

    ... caught up with me. What we saw here was a small Buddha shrine and nothing else.We looked around seeking for a glimpse of a Shivalingham shrine but something else caught our eyes. To our astonishment, we saw more steps leading further up the shrine to nowhere (jungle tracking) and it much was higher and uneven…totally an impossible task for Sheelan!

    Out of nowhere, this dark thug looking man appeared. I sensed that Sheelan was not too comfortable ...

    ... and very little to do. we spent two nights in Kuantan and did very little. on our second day we took a taxi into the main town and spent almost all day inside the main shopping centre. we played pool and went to the cinema as well as having lunch and dinner. turned out to be a fun day but not the kind we had imagined having in a Malaysian coastal town.
