      ... it transpired that the first bus to Kuantan didn't leave until 11am the following morning. Thankfully there were spaces on the bus and I got a seat but we didn't leave until 2:15pm and stopped for half an hour for lunch so didn't get to Kuantan until 5:45pm by which time there were no more onward buses running to Jerantut.       ... from the junction but I felt disappointed that I was cheating. Staying in a villa, oh sorry...a wooden hut, they are great! Floorboards with huge gaps in between the slats, tin roof, balcony and cold showers are all I need. This one has more holes in the mossie net than a colander! Knew the insulating tape would come in handy!

      ... and now it's 1pm and we've come back to our house as it looks like it might rain then we will go back out to the beach and I will bathe in the sun and jake will bathe in the shade we will read our books, get an ice lolly, then come back have a shower go out for more food and find a bar for some beer :) been doing this for 3 months an never written down a days events. Pretty much all follow suit including some site seeing. I will read back on this when i get home and be jealous of ...

      ... the food you were given to feed a variety of animals. We went to feed the deers first. We fed them sweet potato from our hands. They are such gentle animals and take the food gently from your hand. We got to pat them and then go into the cage with them to take closer photos. While we were in there Steve got to feed a emu, these are not so gentle and it bit his hand. The rest of us were not stupid enough to feed an emu as we know they bite and are scary.
