I'm in Casablanca now, it's 31°, Nantes was 12 °. It's brown like Australia, France was lush and green,I don't suppose they have great tasting strawberries here. Enjoyed our rest day in Nantes where we toured the Chateau of the Ducs of Bretagne - fascinating displays - before taking the tram out of town to the "Floriales International" - Europe's largest garden show! We had been seeing the poster BUT now we had to have that one, too!

For our last week in France we decided to explore the Loire Valley. This is a stretch of river valley between Nantes and Orleans that contains over 80 different chateaus built by various royals and nobles in France's history.
