    ... was buzzing with activity, even on a Saturday night. Went to a club last night but the clan and I were disappointed with the techno/ lack of American music so we left pretty quickly. Today we dedicated to the works of Antonio Goudi. We went and saw two of his famous works, not sure what they were called, then spent several hours going through his unfinished masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia.     ... colour and actors. The music and movement of the water were very well put together and it was enjoyable to sit (in the shade) and watch it.

    A new exhibit for 2015 is Les Amoureux de Verdun. It is made up of a very long tunnel which represents trenches from the Great War.     ... difficult to get out of the park with so many people watching the final show but we did so easily and returned to our accommodation for the night.

    As this has been written the morning after, we are soon to return for another day - you need at least two. Many people were wearing special lanyards which Brad presumes is an annual pass which costs only €76 per adult - good value if you lived in France.

    ... to see such diverse uses of this beautiful countryside all in a short drive.
    I was in this town on way South in May so I knew choices were limited for sustenance but Sundays are even worse. Two bars open and both were going to be closed at 18:00 after paying €10.60 for a large and a small beer....sacre bleu!
