So that s it, packing time(quite hard), saturday is the Big day, taking a train to Paris and then a flight on sunday morning at 06am. Then a short stop in franckfurt and at 09:20am flying to salvador de bahia, where we arrive at 17h00. Then it will be our first couchsurfing experience in south america. Wether forecast 30 degrees... and a storm... that hopefully is a mistake.

... of it because Alex was afraid of getting lost walking. He had only been there once and wasn't familiar with it. I told him that I had been to several cites I didn't know and part of the adventure was figuring it out. He wasn't buying it. But I did see the main square, a Chateau, and of course the local McDonald's because he wanted a quick hamburger after we just ate lunch. Another bad American influence on an 18 year old French boy.

... the boys run away screaming so I was so excited about that. I ran home at lunch because one of the boys had spilled my crackers and I needed to get some more for the afternoon. I'd brought peanut butter for them to try. Most French people haven't ever tried it and it was fun to see how they reacted.
