It would appear we have brought the New York weather to Paris. Locals tell me it was fine all last week, but with heavy rain last night, the next few days look bleak…

... second weekend break in as so many weeks, to watch William run the Paris marathon. First point of call - the Bastille. A tall statue in the middle of a roundabout, with roads heading off in all directions, full of cafes and the second (modern!) opera house. ... is a tad expensive!! However we pre-booked dinners so they feel free!! The shops are full of Disney related products. Nothing else at all. Again just a tad overpriced. The weather is wonderful. Hot sunshine and cool shade. Lovely. Not even very crowded. A few notes to self If and when Grandchildren arrive DO NOT offer to take them to Disney land Pack earplugs to stop the noise of children irritating too ...
