... North into France to Evian. I didn't see anything particularly stunning that makes their water better than anywhere else, but it is a nice town at the foot of the mountains and was worth a visit. Our final day was pretty much a washout, but fortunately our AirBNB guy has a massive TV and so we had a chillout day, catching up on some schooling, playing Monopoly and watching a couple of movies. Next stop, back into France to Champagne. :-)

When I was out shopping, I found a bottle of wine from my cousin Laurence’s vineyard and of course had to purchase it – I mean how many times can you say you bought your cousin’s wine?!?! I gave the bottle to Sandra as a thank you and she thought it was “très cool” that my cousin has her own vineyard ;-)

Ahh, that's better. We've been in France and the French part of Switzerland for about 24 hours and already we're all wearing very happy grins. Getting out of Geneva airport was a blast as we packed into our little Renault Clio and very quickly adapted to driving a left hand drive manual on the wrong side of the road. As we start to drop out of the cloud, it looks like clearing, so we decide to head up to Zermatt, we hope it will we pretty, even if we don't see the mountain peak.
We find our way into Zermatt, to find the locals all gesturing us to turn around. As we turn, a fellow says, if you are found here it will be a 300 Swiss franc fine, even with the GPS saying ou can go here! What I didn't notice was the sign 'Locals only' as it was in German! This ...
