... heart of town and had just over an hour to wander around. It surprised me how many people were there. There were a lot of little streets filled with nice shops, some very expensive. It is hard to resist some things that you would like but as the trip draws to a close space in the bag is limited and I would really love to have something from Paris. ... of the city below and the sea! We had a slight booking issue, which meant we had to change rooms each night but this wasn't a problem. Unfortunately canyoning wasn't an option as more people were required. So we left bags in room, and went to the hostel bar which used to be a chapel, so was a unique spot and we thoroughly enjoyed mingling with different people from all over the world and enjoyed 3 bottles of white wine lol a little worse for ...

A bus ride to Monaco

... and have to walk a fair way back to the palace and arrive too late. We jump on a little tourist train which has a commentary of Monaco. It takes us along the Grand Prix road and the commentary fills us in on the town. There are hidden cameras everywhere and 1 policeman for every 60 people living in the town. There is also 0 unemployment and a fantastic economy. We have lunch at a pizza place. We then walk to the casino and play one poker machine with €10 we walk away ...

... very nice dinner. The views were magnificent. The food on the menu was duck, pork belly, mussel soup, salmon, peach vacherin. It was beautiful.

Finished the night with the bus trip home singing crocodile rock (Elton John lives nearby and is currently in town). It was a great night, very 'nice'.
