    ... and buy the tickets for the next sight, the Rijksmuseum. I wasn't in the mood to queue yet again today!

    To be honest, the Van Gogh gallery didn't interest me that much. I think I went partly because it's one of the cities top sights, although I didn't really find his artwork that interesting. There was also a display for another artist, Felix Vallotton, and I thought his artwork was a lot better.

    ... to see them. Then we went to a Irish bar and had a drink with them before catching up with Paul and Pam for dinner. We sound a bit like alcoholics during this trip but I promise we are not drinking that much! Though it might be dry November when we get back to detox the old body! We headed to an Italian place for dinner. It had really good prices but unfortunately the service was really bad and we moved the tale out from the wall and we could see mouse droppings ...

    Where are the homeless people?? This city is a fair size and I don't see anyone sleeping on the street or in a corridor. I'd say that's a sign that they take care of their people...or dump them in the canal.

    ... holland 35 in Arnhem, but i was relieved to step off the train in Amsterdam to find the cool change had hit, so made my trek to my apartment a little more bearable.
