Pompei to the boot

This morning we are driving from Pompei to the boot of Italy and then the car ferry to Sicily. We found Hertz (only 100m from us) and organised our car documents. We had requested a 7 seater due to big adults and 5 pieces of luggage and the fact that everyone likes a window. Today is Messina!! Messina is a port city. It reminded me of Catania although the
streets were wider! Messina is the closest point to the Italian mainland from Sicily and it is here that tomorrow ...
