... cool areas. We were planning to go for xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for dinner, but it was too early and we were not hungry at all. We went back and hung out at our hostel for a couple hours before going to dinner. We went to the Dongmen area for dinner. There are tons of places to eat in this area! Dan ate like it was his last day ever eating!

... him! The really cool part of the night though was that all the trainers came along! It was great to see them outside of work and socialise with them. We got to ask them any last minute questions, get to know them a bit better and have a good time before leaving!
Anyway, I know that was a long post, but atleast it covers all of the training days, which was a fair chunk of our time in Taiwan so far! Onwards from here! Changing scenery, next post will be about arriving in Tainan!

... a temporary wave of depression. We plodded back to the metro in the rain feeling miserable. There wasn't even a seven eleven or a bubble tea in sight to cheer us up! As a last minute plan b we took the metro to Taipei 101 which is apparently the tallest building in the world (not sure if that's fact) and also a huge indoor shopping centre with a to die for food court. ... store at 9:30 AM, and it wasn't open until 10 AM, so we caught a train to Taipei Main Station, to explore the underground mall/s. When we arrived there, no shops were open! It turns out that they weren't going to open until 11 AM — how awesome. So we caught a train back to our station and went back to the electronic store, which was open by the time we arrived.
