Circus Circus Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Great little flight from Eugene to Las Vegas - landing in what seemed like the middle of the strip or Las Vegas Boulevard amid thousands of neon lights. Wow it's now a week since we left home. Settled in to our room at Circus Circus pretty late so had a quiet day on Monday. We ventured out the front door of the hotel for 5 minutes then returned for lunch. From the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Allison and I headed north to Zion National Park. The drive to the park was super windy, with occasional horizontal rain. The drive through the east entrance of Zion was beautiful, and had some of the most bizarre rock fromations I've ever seen.
