Travelling in a stagerring 11-hour journey is something that definitely excites travellers like me. Our long trip started at 4:00 am in the morning at the Cebu North Bus Terminal. eyes of every person on the ward watching me probably thinking ...

The poverty is very overwhelming to me. I want to do so much, yet there is so much to be done. In the afternoon we were off to continue work on the CR. When we arrived we discovered that the rain had left about 6" of standing water in the hole! So first on the agenda was ...

... for us. Many moons ago, when Monica and I first met and were just starting to become a couple, we went camping with a group in a park. After dinner, and around the camp fire the usual drinking and story telling took place and then one of Monica's friends produced some cookies. I will call them 'happy cookies'. I did not feel comfortable enough to get into a 'happy' state of mind with people I barely knew and with Monica. We had only known each other ...
