Today, we booked reservations for Blarney at the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel for our first night of our stay! I'm SO excited! When our confirmation came in today, it was like, "This is real!" ... he had to call off the meeting. I had purchased a bottle of Amarula (a South African drink similar to Bailey's Irish Cream - but made from the Marula fruit) in a duty free shop in Nairobi. 10 days until I leave. Seriously...where is time going. I went to church on Wednesday night for "Last Wednesday" service. I really needed some time to re-center myself and to focus on God. I've been so busy worrying and preparing for my trip that I seemed to have lost focus a bit. It was great to spend some time worshiping and praying. ... in Cincinnati. There were twists and turns like a maze.<br>We drove by the "Cincinnati Reds" base ball stadium. Most houses here are milk cartons. Drove through Indiana which was flat farmland with a few trees, but green scenery. Stopped in Indianapolis for minor repair on RV. Got detoured because I70 was closed for road work. Drove through foggy bottom so we locked doors and windows, finally got on I70.

... then off to Cusco and the Sacred Valley for a day. We trek to Machu Picchu on Sunday and return to Cusco on Monday afternoon. Three days in Cusco and then we'll return to Lima for a wondrous spa day May 18. Then it's another marathon travel day and we're home on the 19th. We hope to send photos and stories back each day.
