The engines were cut on our vessel and the tender started to drift. It turned so it was crossing the tide side on. The wake started to gently rock the tender. The rocking didn’t stop. It got worse and worse. The rocking became more violent. There is room on these tenders for about 20 people to sit outside on the top deck. We were 2 of the 20 people sitting outside!! What I won't miss about Nice or my trip in general:
*The long bus ride on the way back to my "home" at Scuderi.
*The constant texting and Facebooking in class.
*The shower as it was only hand-held; there was not place to prop the ...

... and sheets smelled when dried this way. We have a Murphy bed that folds away during the day, a sofa bed, chair, desk, a marble topped table to eat on and a duplicate on the balcony. The bathroom is all marble, as is the toilet room, which is separate and a very workable idea that is somewhat copied back home in some newer homes. The fridge is quite small, but we do as the French do and hit the market every couple of days. My ...
