Finally down the pass and into the wonderful historic town of Bormio where I take a left turn towards Gavia pass.

In all the times I have been to this area I have never yet managed to get over this pass and so its a new road to add to my list.

I follow the river out of Bormio and pass through some of the old and wonderful historic buildings and am finally onto the main ...

Luca arrived without his vest and was very quickly taken back out to the car by Nonna Mela to get it to put it back on. Lucky he was a bit more obliging this time. Photos on Paul's phone so will have to add them ...

Afterwards Paul drove us around San Martino showing the boys all his favorite placing and ski slopes, which are currently covered in thick green grass. It's hard to imagine that in a month or so they will be covered in snow! We had a lazy afternoon and then dinner at John and ...

Today we all slept in, Nicolas and Brodie till 8.30, Luca, Paul and I till 9.30! They have wooden shutters on the windows here and that definitely helps the kids sleep in! After our lazy morning, back up into the mountains we went with John and Daniela. We went to a beautiful spot where a cousin of Daniela and his family live. They have a restaurant, berry farm and donkeys. We had gone here not only to ...
