In Mt. Ilgaz National Park, I wandered around the steep mountains and was dwarfed by the towering pines. I smelled smells that reminded me of brown sugar or lilacs or wet socks. As we neared the border of Georgia we came to a town called "Hopa".
We were both very tired so decided to set up the micra bed and deal with the border in the morning.
There were many big lorries and trucks parked up sleeping every where so it felt like the right place to crash. It was a noisy night. We woke and headed to the border.
