We started with a drive to the South Beach of the Island. Only to find that the beaches weren't that great. So change of plans, let’s drive West. We found a nice cheap hotel right by the beach. Day 4: we took our lessons from the previous days and only put one
thing on our itinerary for the day: check out the El Yunque rainforest.
Turned out to work out perfectly time wise, just that the weather was
... they would thrive here. And with no natural predators it would be a catastrophe if they got out and started populating the island. We slept on an air mattress in the building that is supposed to be the office building, where Sarah and Alberto live. And
there are empty monkey cages next door. It all makes for a very curious and spectacular couch surfing site! Plus they had cute ...
... did. The boys joined in with me and kept the glass in their pockets. We collected so much! When I got home I filled up a mason jar with it all!
After we got back from collecting glass and shells, I was very hungry so I ventured off on my own to find a restaurant on the beach. I had a few drinks and ordered some healthy sloppy joes (they were served on lettuce instead of bread. actually very tastey!) and headed back to the group.

Celi is joining us today for the day with her friend Angela. We met Angela and Karen another of Celi's friends yesterday at the pig roast.
We are staying at the Aguadilla Courtyard which is built on the site of an historic US airforce base closed many years ago.
Angela and Celi... drove up from her parents and spent part of the afternoon ...

The view was breathtaking. But I wouldn't stay there again because of the uncomfortable beds.
