    ... their yummy salads. And of course they had no salads, no wraps, nothing at all remotely healthy and the chicken and fish sandwiches we bought were downright awful. What I wouldn't give for a salad bar about now.

    ... but with hand-carved roasts and traditional British "Sunday dinner" dishes. They had roast turkey, ham, roast beef, steak and mushroom pie, Yorkshire puddings and gravy, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas (of course) carrots and cauliflower and the tiniest salad bar I have ever seen. It was pretty good stuff.

    Today we walked past the Otley Secondary Modern School. Not too sure ...

    Just down the road is another slightly larger town of Burge Le Marsh, which also featured in her family’s history. The church and cemetery here were in a better state, even though of a similar age, but there appeared to be more money in town for the upkeep.
