After reading all the reviews about this hotel, I was a bit hesitant to stay here... But although the smell in the reception was a bit strong, the room I got was not too bad. It's clean, if a bit dark. Bed is nice and big. Best of all, the WiFi was actually decent.

My favorite part was the beautfiful lake the seperates the city. I also loved as we traveled to the chocolate factory we passed a garden that looked really pretty. Geneva just seemed like a beautiful city and everyone I had meet at this point was so nice and welcoming. When we got to the chocolate factory, we ...
Wednesday 31st December Happy New Years Eve! On our swirl-wind Swiss adventure, we're up early again for a 7:49am train to Geneva. The roads aren't cleared yet, so I drag a ton of snow along with my suitcase down to the station. We're sad to leave the mountains so soon, especially as there's a New Year's street party, but we have an early flight home from Geneva tomorrow, so off we go. Again the trains are a dream - Grindelwald - Interlaken Ost - Bern - ...
