I feel so bad for the kids, they have to go through these goodbyes with their English teachers twice a year and they've been asking me for weeks when I'm leaving. On Friday afternoon, wherever I went I was hijacked by all my students brandishing pens and notebooks, wanting me to sign my name and write 'I love you' - I know how celebrities feel now, I must have signed about 200 of their books! ... a couple of days in Munich and then fly to Halifax where we’ll visit for a few days before returning to the Island. We’ve very excited about the Rhine River cruise – it’s been on my “bucket list” for a long time. It was our plan to see more of China after we finished school, but the extreme heat and the lure of a German marathon changed our minds.

... my equilibrium. Next Saturday is the Spring Fair and I’m on the organizing committee. The principal and I convinced the parent group that we should be donating the profits to a charity so the proceeds will go to the Nepal Earthquake Relief. We just finished our last set of parent teacher interviews yesterday AND we’ve written our last student narratives – comments about each child in all subjects – Alleluia!!! Now ...
