We’ve very excited about the Rhine River cruise – it’s been on my “bucket list” for a long time. It was our plan to see more of China after we finished school, but the extreme heat and the lure of a German marathon changed our minds.

... Guanyin Mountain Forest Park in Dongguan, which is famous because at the top of the mountain is a giant Buddha statue, apparently the largest free-standing Buddha statue in China, although I'm sceptical. It's pretty big though! I had looked up buses and it looked pretty close to us, we only had to get on 2 different buses and a short tuk-tuk ride, for China that's decent!
