We sat there sipping our cocktails in dresses and listened to an amazing live band play literally all my favourite songs (westlife, ed sheeran, Christina perri..) so good! After a very bumpy 40 min Tuk Tuk ride we arrived at the Killing Fields. Only $7 entry which included a audio tour which was brilliant. Now i had no idea really about the history of this place, what the killing fields represented but this was truly an eye opening experience. ...

... building as a final resting place for all the victims involved. It is impossible to know who they all are, but photographic records were kept at s-21 for every victim that was sent there. Apparently there were more than 300 Killing field sites around Cambodia and 1.7 million people were killed in 4 years which equates to around 1/2 the population. Deeply sad and moving experience and an insight into the horrors encountered by the Cambodian people in such recent years. ...
