... at the Bodensee (Lake Constance) that belongs to Marianne's brother, Richard. We are also fortunate to have a little Mercedes hatch at our disposal, so Walter has been getting a few driving lessons with Volker. As we prepare for our next road tour, we review our essential requirements to pack. Having accumulated considerable additional articles, last night was spent packing and re-packing, so as to minimise what we need. The Mercedes hatch-back is ...

Its absolutely beautiful.I've been going to museums and museums and you see very few alps paintings because theyre so damn pictureperfect already! Haha, Zurich was a nice little-big city with lots to do, when it doesn't rain. Thats why its great to find an Aussie, American, and two maniacal Armenians with an arsenal ...

SATURDAY, 9th September We went for a walk. Five minutes in any direction would have seen us out of town and into the surrounding fields or paddling in the lake. We headed for the lake, passed through the village of Moos and entered the marina which was surprisingly big, ie there were lots of yachts tied up in berths. Sailing is the way to go here on Bodensee. There were very few motor boats per se. At the lake side a jetty extended out into the water from where ...
