... the biggest vacation areas in Hungary, but it was windy as hell, and there was about a 1 foot swell on the lake – not particularly inviting. We decided a swim was in order though, so headed to Heviz to check out some famous natural hot pools. The pools are set in a national park, and have a natural peat bottom. ... we freshened up and changed. Then we hit the ground running. We saw the main attractions like the Grossmunster, the Fraumunster, and St. Peter's Cathedral. We walked though old town, and along the river. Zurich is such a lovely city. When we were at the Grossmunster we had the opportunity to climb the tower, and look down on the city of Zurich. SATURDAY, 9th September We went for a walk. Five minutes in any direction would have seen us out of town and into the surrounding fields or paddling in the lake. We headed for the lake, passed through the village of Moos and entered the marina which was surprisingly big, ie there were lots of yachts tied up in berths.
