      Sorry for the break from routine of our daily blogs. Our time spent in Pforzheim is very relaxing and we are enjoying the opportunity not to be travelling so much. We spend time planning the next phase of our trip, sorting bank details and shopping. Marianne is a wonderful cook and we have been spoilt with yummy home-cooked meals.       ... When we left the lights were turned out, to save power. The poor biddy guards were obviously made to sit in the dark when there weren’t any punters! Very funny. We wandered through the town, checking out various buildings and squares. One thing that caught our eye were a range of statues in different poses about the place – one a man at work crawling out of a manhole, another on a park bench in a square, and the third a paparazzi with massive camera poking out behind ...

      ... I learned those huge ass churches' names and that they are your typical touristic sights. I have no idea which Kreis is which and I haven't even been up the Ütliberg. Ok, obviously I haven't been sightseeing...but you have to understand, I've been busy soaking up its nightlife and most especially, its language. Züridüutsch isch eifach schööön.

      Better Update! Switzerland by far my favourite country. Its absolutely beautiful.I've been going to museums and museums and you see very few alps paintings because theyre so damn pictureperfect already! Haha, Zurich was a nice little-big city with lots to do, when it doesn't rain. Thats why its great to find an Aussie, American, and two maniacal Armenians with an arsenal ...

      ... attached to their car. They are not allowed to reverse the cars down the ramp. Maybe they have had too many accidents! After lunch the girls went shopping and I walked back to the house. Earlier that day we were surprised see some drays go by the front door pulled by teams of four horses and filled with people on benches in the back. To this day I have no idea from whence they came or where they went. ...
