Next we parked and walked through the rec center. It was a little nicer than the one at Platina , and the pool was bigger, but half of it was for adults only. They had a nice cooking area too for making bigger meals.
We made a plus/minus list for the ranch at Paltina, we both agreed that we didn't even need to do that for this one. We left the ranch headed for Carmel...so disappointed.

Wine country time!!
It's Boxing Day in Canada and I get to wake up to an overcast sky and 4 degrees (should be going up to 14 here later on today). It's currently 2 degrees in Napa but by the time we get there, it should be 11 degrees (topping off at 14 today) and sunny. Time to get some breakfast and get ready for the day!! We headed over towards the next table, and filled out our names on large white stickers, which after a quick glance around, no one seemed to be hiding. This was an unusually friendly set of people, prominantly displaying their names for anyone and everyone to see.

Our Last Day in the USA
... into the Japan Airlines lounge (who share with Qantas as they have no lounge in SFO), where we had some sandwiches to hold of the hunger pains until fed on the plane and compared trip storeis with another Aussie family waiting for the same plane.
Finally we boarded for our 11.10 pm flight to Sydney. Dad was asleep before the plane taxied to the airport, and Callan and Ashleigh weren't far behind. We all caught a bit of sleep on the 14 hour flight ...
