Choromar Apartments Albufeira

been before and loved it then but this timle was better and poeple in apartments were just very helpful and nice

We have just returned from 2 wks holiday here and whilst the staff were friendly,a lot of the clientelle were not!all the time we were there we didnt get to sleep until after 2am because of people shouting,screaming and swearing until all hours!this is certainly not the place for people with young children. we were led to believe there were things for children to do and this was not the case even the so called amusement machines didnt work.there were missing tiles in the swimming pool. having stayed in the area on several occasions before, this has to be the worst place we've stayed !it was also a lot further away from the tourist area called 'the strip'than was reported in a report we read before hand. the appartments were adequate although could do with some serious updating ! After saying all this imust say we made the most of our holiday as we love the Algarve.Oh! and before someone accuses me of being a misery another couple we got talking to felt exactly the same ,they had 3 children under 10 yrs and we had 1.!'

Me and my partner stayed their for one week and loved it the rooms are fully equiped and very clean. all the staff were freindly and very helpfull we deffinately will be booking again next year. They served english food that was good value for money and a good variety to choose from.

After visiting the Choro Mar in 2000 i have been back every year.The people there make you feel like part of the family.The apartments are lovely and clean and spacious.From the cleaners to the manager they all have a smile for you.Every time we come back my son Carl doesn't stop talking about the place for months.It's a smashing place for familes i can't speak highly enough of the place.Paul,Julia and Carl

Our first family holiday will be remember as possibly the best holiday ever!!

The staff were all extremely friendly and always ready to help. The food was great and the atmosphere for the football was brill! The apartments are spacious and really clean. The location and setting were ideal for a family. The Strip was close enough to walk too, but far enough way so it was quiet on a night (except for the entertainment in the bar!!!).As there are 4 pools, no fighting for sunbeds!!

Overall a great holiday, we will definately be going back.

We have visited the choro mar for the past 5 years and we find the family atmosphere fantastic. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We have made many new friends over the years and still keep in contact with them. The Choro Mar is an excellant destination if your looking for family fun in the sun and a good time in the bar. These apartments were superb, all the staff were very help full nothing was to much trouble for them, we are going back in june 04.

As a family of four we had a wonderful holiday. Our apartments were spacious and clean and the hospitality we were shown was absoloutly marvelous. We are going back this year on 10 July and can't wait to return. The Choromar has a very friendly atmosphere and the entertainment was superb. We had pool games for all the family every day and also much to my son's delight the owner Carlos ran a mini bus twice a week to a football stadium were holiday makers were encouraged to take part in a game of footy.

This was the first time for the four of us in Portugal, if the Choro Mar was an advert for the rest of the Albufeira, then it would be a much busier place, what can we say:- clean and spacious apartments, very friendly staff, who genuinley have the guests' interests at heart, fantastic environment in the bar with the entertainment (Manuel trying to sing!!) keeping all ages interested and in fits of laughter. The pool was of a good size and well used, by children & adults. We could not fault it at all, fantastic and thanks to all the staff. Best holiday ever mainly due to the owners and staff of the Choro Mar.

Chor Mar means 'cry sea' The only crying we did was from laughing so much. The apartments were brilliant, spotless and very large, the food was great, the pool fab, the staff sooo helpful and the entertainment had you in stitches. would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a good time on holiday.
