... sortie through the northern sliver of Botswana along the Chobe River where herds of elephants litter the landscape like cattle. Truly impressive in their numbers, and doubly impressive when you get to see a dozen lions have a go at bringing one down. We camped along the river at Ihaha Camp only to be woken by some more lions attempting the same gameplan frighteningly close to our camp – it made going for a midnight pee pretty interesting.

Goodbye UTH, Lusaka and the rest of Zambia!
Well this is it. After 8 weeks of working at UTH, meeting brilliant people and exploring Zambia, Kym and I are finally leaving for Tanzania. We're getting the TAZARA train from Kapiri Mposhi for 46hrs (or 3days depending on delays) all the way up to Dar Es Salaam. Very excited, will update properly on the past weeks activities once we get there. Looking forward to meeting up with Debbie on Monday, hopefully we will be fluent in swahili by then ...
