    We did a little shopping, took some pictures, and fed some fish before piling back into the "Love Van". Then we travelled to an American themed steakhouse on the way to Khorat. Miles had finally fallen asleep for a nap on our way there, and we sure didn't want to wake him, so we let him snooze at the restaurant for a while. We all ordered t-bone steaks, and they were delicious! Even Alex ate a TON!

    We have come to learn in our six weeks of working at the school, that the Thai school system, especially our Thai school, is "more about experience than education," as quoted by Yui. In the past weeks, one or two classes were cancelled here or there, or on occasion the school was let out early, but this week was a whole new level. There was no class for the entire week.

    We're just settling down for bed now and I can't quite believe how today has gone. It got split in two; first thing this morning we had our elephant trek/ride and then we had almost 8 hours worth of travelling into central Thailand to reach our next destination!
