      ... is full of these secured complex of high buildings with apartments.There is a security agent 24/7, technical service, cleaning service. It's not a bad place to live, with a nice sea view to the west (just perfect to gaze at the sunset!) and a swimming pool on the rooftop! I had my own air-conditioned room and my bathroom. The living room is really open, with a wide window and a balcony.

      Slept well,and up at 08.00 had a buffet breakfast with the gang. Sitting on a couch looking into the breakfast room waiting for people to come down for the bus saw two vast Russians arrive at their table with big plates of fruit, when they already had deposited a mountainous plate of western breakfast and ditto plate of Thai breakfast. A day's worth of food for us. Some of us had picked up a few biscuits or cakes from the buffet to keep us going until ...

      exceptional cases even more than 2.5 m (8 ft 2 in) and over 100 kg (220 lb). They were BIG! 4 - there was a TIGER! we finally saw one, was able to touch it, stoke it and get a picture with it - jackpot. The place also had a traditional Thai culture show which was nice but ultimately nothing great. Either way we had a great day and loved that we had taken in a local treasure and got some great pictures.

      An off duty policeman was shot while robbing a gold shop in one of the streets; police are following up reports of gun shots (?)

I learned to say simple phrases like saying “hello” and “thank you” in Khmer, which made the Cambodian people laugh and they went easy on us when we were bargaining.
