      There was no time for the gym today, even though we were up at 0600, as we needed to be ready to leave the ship by 0730 for our day out at Nong Nooch Village which is about 40 minutes drive from the port by coach. Nong Nooch village is one of the three main attractions (for tourists) in the vicinity of Pattaya.

      ... I paid up and went in. The building is entirely made of wood and is bloody massive! See numerous pictures. Also there was a demonstration of traditional Thai dancing and fighting which was cool to see. Unfortunately I got fleeced for 60 baht on a drink which I though only cost 25 baht. Wallet Funds were running dry by this point, down to 131 baht. On my way back out an elephant walked past, first time I have seen one, so bizarre, like a giant walking bag of wrinkly skin.       ... is that i had to pay 11p for this experience! Of course by this point I was quite drunk so I asked the lady if I could pay just 5 baht for both Josie and I to use the same toilet, and wash my feet in the sink as i had weed on them whilst attempting to aim in a hole. Both requests were denied.       ... a new apartment building opening up next week (its small and only has 7 rooms), and I'm not going to lie - I am pretty excited! I cannot wait to pack my backpack away for a little bit, and actually live out of drawers and a closet for a change. As much as I love backpacking so far, it is a bit too chaotic for my everyday life. Unfortunately though, because the building is new we will have to continue living in our hotel until the 15th.

      ... stores of slightly overpriced tourist tit-tat set around water, there was an inexplicable small Dinosaur theme park together with a garden to visit. There was also a large, tusked elephant which we paid about 40 pence to feed a bunch of small bananas.
