Shane dropped me at the Samui butterfly house, the one I had gone to on my
first visit alone to Samui – it had been closed then and the taxi had driven
off and it was so isolated (the expensive resort the only place nearby which
had not helped me) that I had walked down the hill looking for a taxi. This
time the place was open and though small, it was lovely to go in. Being
