... three hundred metres above sea level. Each gondola can carry seven or eight people and sways like a pinata, which just adds to the fun. The gondolas were packed and I had to wait in a lengthy queue for boarding, even though the fare was NT$50 in a city where the typical Mass Rapid Transit subway ride costs only NT$20.
