It was lovely to see that they were all well fed and in good condition and were not just a big collection of strays fighting to survive, which I am pretty sure they were just a few years ago. Sadly with the light fading and the clouds rolling in we had to bid a fond farewell to our furry friends and head back to the bright lights of the big city.

... of a building two hours later to torrential rainfall, I promise you whatever nationality you are you're simply going to get wet, and in Taipei, when it rains you know about it, so by wet, I mean soaking, to the bone. The Taiwanese have taken it upon themselves to use umbrellas on a regular basis, they have them there for a sudden bout of rain, but they also use them and have them open to protect themselves from the sun. So I gave in and bought an umbrella! ...
