... to find an RV park to stay in
but our internet kept going in and out of range and there wasn't
anything for miles so we ended up staying at a Rest Area when we
crossed back into Texas, just out of Hedley. There were signs saying
Watch for Rattlesnakes. Was keen to see some, from the safety of the
RV but didn't see any snakes at all.
Unfortunately this Rest Area was right
near rail tracks so they came and went all night. They must toot
... landscape we see, called the rocklands, are just the tops of the mountains peeking through the sand and grass of the prairie. The rest is compeltly concealed underground. Absolutly beautiful, rugged, wild and BLAZINGLY HOT! But at least it was in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping round the bend, so it is tolerable.
We saw lizards, wild longhorns, a cayote, a swimming beetle, prairie dogs and amazing scenery! ...

Saturday night was the big occasion and it was again good to see and talk to the people from EHS after years. Attached are a few pictures of some of them from the basketball team.
Overall had a great time and may go back next year depending on how they arrange it. Talk of doing in in Oct instead of June and inviting the Lawton High School grads also. Sounds like too many people especially since I do not know ...
