... elicits wide-eyed wonder, but the rest of the meal is quite outstanding. The pizza would even appeal to RI brick-oven experts!

Back to the station, we wander through the now thick crowds like a set of ducklings. Two-by-two the Amy-Lily combo is easier to spot and keep track of than you might think and we manage to stay together despite some accordion-like expanding and contracting of the line.

The fun with Amy continues back at the home ...

... before, there is always someone who knows someone who lives nearby, so suddenly I had an appointment at the Omiya Station information desk at 10 am, with someone I only met once before at a barbecue.

A quick look on my favorite app TripAdvisor showed me that Omiya is also home to many bonsai nurseries and an actual bonsai museum. All together this area is called 'Bonsai village'. I have a soft spot for this artful horticulture that is deeply ...

... are many little gift shops throughout the Park and one main one that funnels the crowd in and out of the Park. There were aprons, washcloths, scarves, cookies and candies, postcards and the like, all with a wisteria theme...lots of things to buy to bring home. A special treat near the back of the park was the stand selling wisteria flavoured soft ice cream!

... plan was to have a meal at the shopping center.
So we finally depart and held to AEON. Indeed it's a big place, with many restaurants, many shops of everything you need.
Meal time first ! Katsudon ! Really good ... there is a salad with some tofu. Still not fan of tofu, but at least I can eat it more often than before.
Yes, there is a picture of the toilets... I found that too classy. Chairs available in front of the mirror, never seen that at least ...
