Dit wordt nog is een dag! En stiekem weet ik inmiddels al hoe die verlopen is :). 4.00 am gaat de wekker, uitrusten doen we thuis maar. Alledrie hebben we onrustig geslapen. De bedden in Japan zijn trouwens keihard, dat had ik nog niet verteld geloof ik. Maar gelukkig heb ik er geen last meer van.

Matsushima + Hiraizumi Deel 1
Na een welverdiende nachtrust, in eindelijk weer is een zacht tweepersoonsbed, maar in een kamer zonder airco, checken we om 10.00 uur weer uit. Vandaag bekijken we nog twee steden, Hiraizumi en Matsushima, welke beide in de buurt van Sendai liggen.

we woke up at 5:45 am. today..no light outside but rain...we have 7 hours of train rides today and everything hase to be in perfect timing! we thought that takayama had hard rain falling but as we kept descending from the mountains the rain got worse...we had nothing to do than pray for good weather up in the north.

... while the weather started out horribly, we left all the rain and wind up in Misawa and enjoyed a warm and later very sunny day in Matsushima. I was lucky the two folks who had signed=up to sit in the two seats right behind the driver didn't show-up, so the tour guide had no problem letting me slide up front :o) Most folks don't like those seats because you can't really stretch -out ...
