Chiripa Maspalomas

... our friend Rodney then got the 2pm bus to the airport was quite worried about the flight because in England they had really bad weather and 70mph winds all week however the weather clear by the time we flew back :-D
Our flight left 15 mins late however we arrive 15 minutes before schedule and England was very cold Bring on April for my year of Backpacking :-)

... had some type of hippy festival thing going on in Las Palmas bus staion area which was really cool and about 40 little stores to look about then we went for a walk down the port area then got the bus back and had a quiet night in watching spanish tv which was quite good even though i didnt understand it lol..

... sauce for a main! It was really nice and a very local place
which i like a lot because i like to expirence what the locals do :-).

Then
we went to a few pubs one called fiction with men in just there
underwear and then sparkles showbar which had a drag show but was not
very good so went to nixonos which is a club and stayed there till 4am
but it was very exspensive and cost 19.50 euros for 3 drinks :-0.

... is a caberet drag bar Then when we got back to the hotel Josh went to bed and i walked by the pool and ended up trying out my german speaking skills with a group of Germans which i wasnt very succesful at, then went to the hotel room and woke up in the night and was sick too much alcohol opps..
Woke up this morning struggled to eat ...

... and all the light was blocked out and
one of the beds the middle had colapsed in.. So Josh was quite annoyed
it bothered me but wasnt going to let it get me down, we went to the
hotel lobby and asked to change room but they said not now come back
2moro errrrrrrr!! So we went back in the morning and they said come
back later.

Today
walked along the beach to Maspalomas which is about a 5 mile walk was
really warm and ...

... small kiddies. Although not on Thomson Super Family, Thomson still ran daily childrens activities through the day.
The restaurant served a good variety of freshly cooked food and was reasonably priced, the Sunday BBQ at 9€00 for adults and 6€00 for kids is great.

Entertainment was exceptionally good for a self catering complex (compared to our recent visits to AI hotels in Egypt and the ...

... the scenery high up in the mountains was barren and looked like a moonscape. It was amazingly stark. We stopped at many points for photos and information from our guide. We walked around the areas half way up the volcano and in old craters and lava fields surrounding the volcano. It was a great excursion and we were very impressed with the island, the towns, and the overall feel of the place. We will definitely come back spend more time here at some point.

... They looked like they were on horseback and they turned back to look as us, and almost appeared to be frightened. Either we ran over them or they ran off into the distance - I'm not exactly sure. It's all a little fuzzy because it all happened in only a matter of seconds - but it was some scary ****! Later on, I mentioned it to Ben but he saw nothing. By the time we returned to Maspalomas, my undies had dried a second time.

O destino não foi muito original, confesso.
Passado um ano da nossa viagem de finalistas, e como já vos contei, nunca mais nos largarmos, e depois de muita teimosia.. lá começámos a namorar. E já lá vão quase 4 anos.

 No verão seguinte.. 2006, portanto. Eu como sempre fui passar férias com os meus pais a Gran Canaria, mas desta vez com uma nova "aquisição".

... tudo muito detalhado, é que algumas viagens já foram há alguns anos e para alem disso, como o blog só está a nascer hoje, são muitas historias para contar ao mesmo tempo.
Aproveito também, para deixar os parabéns ao meu companheiro deste "correr o mundo", que fez ontem os seus 22 suados anos! Nada disto faria sentido sem ti e sendo assim começo com a nossa primeira viagem juntos ...
