Following a wonderful, >6 hours of sleep, Rick and I walked up the extra 2 flights of stairs to the hot, top floor of the hostel to get some breakfast. Tea, bananas (of course, since we are at the banana hostel), toast, jam and yogurt (I bought at the store the night before). Day 2! Today we checked out of the hotel and took a bus to Ten Drum Culture Village. We played traditional drums and got to try sugarcane juice. Although I didn't get to go to Taipei, per se, I stayed in Taoyuan for the night. 7/11 everywhere. Literally a block or two away from each other.
