Picked up Bruce at MCO yesterday, explained the roof rack story. John called at 8:00 AM the part was in and we arranged to be there at 2:00 PM to have it installed. That way we could meet Ross and Nancy at e range for some fun shooting. We had a ball shooting the rifle and several of our pistols. Pit Stop in the land of Crimson Tide

... in their back yard. All told the drive time suffered a hit of about 3 hours but this stop assuaged the disappointment of skipping the last few shows at the French Quarter Fest.
Nathan was ready for a break, so back in the car Speck clambered behind the wheel and off they went. Next stop home. Hopefully Speck won't scare his wife too badly when he shows up a day early in the middle of the night.

While I was in ABOLC, I spent Thanksgiving in Birmingham, Alabama with Jason Wilkes, Tom and Julie Holloway, and Joe Herink. While Joe stayed with Tom's family, I stayed with Jason's aunt and uncle and we had a great Thanksgiving dinner at their house along with most of Jason's family, in Alabama for his younger sister's college visit to Tuscaloosa.
