Bye bye Blankie
After the two drunkies came in around 9 am, I was up for the day! I made myself breakfast and coffee and watched a bit of Downton Abbey (a UK time period drama which I am now obsessed with). I had no idea what time they were going to get up, so I decided to walk around for a bit on my own. I was feeling really under the weather, and since there was only one set of keys and Blankie was leaving in the early evening I decided to stay in Basingstoke as oppose to going to London.

Four weeks
Just four weeks to go and I just want to be settled on board with the real world, and Christmas , left behind. I still need to order money and am checking the exchange rates daily its still going up so hang on. If it starts to go down then I buy before it looses any more. The money is delivered to the ship so don't have to carry it. The exchange rate is pretty good also. Found ...

Anyways, that's enough for a first post. Hopefully we'll post a few more updates as it gets closer to the big day so that people know how we're doing. The plan at the moment is to arrange a bit of a leaving party for all our friends to come down and see us off so once we know a date we'll spread the word!

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat!
... our post for 12 months. But yes, Christmas is around the corner and with it Christmas parties. Kirsty has hers tonight and mine is on Friday :-) Kirsty has the misfortune of having to work Christmas day this year so to compensate we have bought a real Christmas tree! It looks and smells amazing!!
We will soon discuss whether or not to create a new account or just share this one, but, in the mean time, enjoy the Christmas period peeps!
