Literally a couple hours after posting my last entry, I came down with food poisoning. I have only had it once before, in bali from McDonald's chicken. This time, I believe the culprit to be a bad burrito.

i spent the evening vomiting and feeling sorry for myself, before crawling out to the pharmacy in the morning for charcoal tablets - my foolproof treatment for stomach problems, except this time it didn't work. So I called a doctor to the hostel and waited.

The next morning and not feeling the jet lag that much we woke up to the 28C heat of Playa Del Carmen and walked to the pier to see the beach front. ... and got changed for rappelling and ziplining. We put on our gear and met our new guide Ulises. He was a funny guy. He walked us over to the rappelling station, gave us a quick 5 minute run through and we were climbing the 70 foot tower.
