The Blackhawks got the win and took a 3 - 2 lead in the series. Game 6 will be in Chicago but we'll be somewhere on the East coast and will have to watch it on TV. Still, at over $1000 for a ticket, my chief finance officer wasn't going to clear that. Oh Well!

Tomorrow we're up at 3:15am to head to the airport for our next exciting part of our holiday, off to NEW YORK!!

We missed the entire semi-final of the Germany vs. Brazil match. Boy, were we in shock when we heard THAT ...

We were safe to make it to Chicago in one piece after our horrific flight from Vegas! I hadn't taken any flying drugs coming into Vegas so thought I was on the road to conquering my fear, but as I walked onto the teeny tiny plane and heard one pilot say to the other "I know I should know this but.." I quickly downed a xanax as I knew this was not going to be a good flight! We endured terrible turbulence, very strange engine sounds, what ...

I will be doing a lot of exploring and hopefully traveling to other countries in my 4 months abroad so I will be doing my best to update this blog regularly. Hopefully this will keep everyone in the loop about what I am up to.

More to come when I get settled in over there!
