A round of cocktails kicked off the evening at the restaurant - Blossom (a floral tea cocktail containing lychee purée, rose tea syrup and vodka topped up with champagne) and Singapore Blaze (an updated Singapore Sling with gin, cherry brandy, fresh lime juice and pineapple juice, flamed with rum just before it was served at the table). I think we stumbled to bed around 2.30 am, having not moved from the garden table except to eat and pee since 4pm.
