So today I went off to Shinjuku to explore a bit on my own. Originally I planned to do Shinjuku in the morning and then head to Asakusa for the afternoon but I got way too caught up in all the shopping and places in Shinjuku that I had to postpone Asakusa for the next day. First I decided to walk to Shinjuku since it is only 2 stops away from my hotel. The walk wasn't horrible and took about 25ish min to get to the government building. I had ...
... Even if you don't get off just do the monorail loop. Although the Tokyo Port area is worth a visit. The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation and the Museum of Maritime Science are all in this area and have good reviews. There's also a token Ferris wheel if you like that sort of thing. ... so Anaheim
wins this one. Paris comes in dead last with its very rough ride and unnecessary
loop. They also have Autopia here but I
don’t remember what it is called. Pretty similar to Anaheim’s without the
monorail overhead. Anaheim wins this one too. Since it was Easter recently, Tokyo Disneyland
is celebrating it until the end of July. Don’t ask, they absolutely go ape
crazy over Western holidays out ...
... elevator and you all fall to your death. The end. This was our 4th Tower of Terror ride (Orlando, Anaheim, Paris, and now Tokyo) so we’ll start to throw some comparisons in. This one was the best looking on the outside by far. Great artifacts and individual elevator rooms on the inside too. However, Orlando still wins for the extra dimension with the elevator traveling sideways and also the queue.
