Alright, this is my second to last entry for the Japan blog. As always, Facebook will post the title of the picture but not the descriptions. I have also been told that the videos don't go through either. Most of the information will be in the photo descriptions.
Tokyo Disneyland is actually inside Tokyo in one of the suburbs. I only had to change trains once, and the whole journey took less than 40 minutes from the apartment. That's just bonus points in my mind ...
... forgot to notice that our friend + guide, Ulrich, was waiting eagerly for us behind the cameraman. Ulrich, as usual, was gracious and funny about the welcoming episode, and promptly took us to the exit area to load into his Japanese wagon.
Ulrich's vehicle of choice was the Nissan Elgrand. It gobbled up our luggage and still had space to take in, like, 6 additional people. After a brief start-up of Ulrich's iPhone ...

was built way back in 1983, it was designed with massive crowds in mind.
Castle: Out here it is Cinderella Castle and a copy of the
one in Orlando. However, the hub here is unbelievably massive! It’s basically
two hubs and they are like 3-4 times the size of the ones we are used to. I
would love to see this area during the busiest days of the season.

... Harmony did her best to order food from a Japanese menu to a Japanese person. She did great! She order me curry noodles (yes, curry is extremely popular out here.....go figure) and she got a more traditional broth.
That's it for day 1 (which was really like 1.5 days). We crashed soon after but, as we later found out, didn't sleep for too long. ...
