Today we awoke early and drove for a an hour or so up into the hills to visit chiang dao cave. A big cave which was used as a place of worship for the monks and had beautiful carvings of Buddhas incorporated into the cave walls, unfortunately due to the sheer size of the caves I couldn't get a great photo but it was beautiful. We were all a little wet and muddy so gave us chance to dry off and warm up. ... Chiang Mai is amazing! I really like Thai food generally but it seemed to be even better in the north. They have a local noodle dish called Kow Soi that we all became addicted to while we were there. It's basically noodles in a spicy curry sauce with crispy noodles on top.
